Introduction
Trusthorpe Springs and Lakeside Springs are family orientated parks catering for owner occupied holiday caravans/letting caravans/touring caravans/trailer tents/tents/motor caravans. Our guests’ enjoyment and safety is paramount and therefore we ask you to read the following Terms and Conditions before making your booking.
We reserve the right to ask guests who contravene these terms and conditions or, who in any other way are behaving in a manner likely to cause distress or nuisance to other visitors, to leave the park immediately. In these circumstances the holiday ceases and we shall not be liable for any extra costs incurred by you.
Access Statement
We seek to provide the very best service to all our guests and have a specially prepared access statement available on our website at www.springsholidayestates.co.uk which describes the facilities we have to offer on the Parks.
Contract
The contract is for a short-term holiday rental of the property specified on the booking form made between the guest and the owners of Springs Holiday Estates (“the owners”), binding from such time that booking is made and inclusive of all the following conditions.
We reserve the right to change the accommodation unit and allocated pitch where this becomes necessary. Should this occur we will ensure an accommodation unit of no less standard or sleeping capacity is provided.
By making a booking the guest contracts on behalf of himself/herself and all those in his/her party and represents that he/she has the authority to accept these conditions on behalf of and binding upon all guests in his/her party.
Bookings are accepted on the understanding that the property is taken for holiday purposes only and that, excepting babies, the number of people in each property is limited to that entered on the booking form.
The guest and any friends or family of the guest visiting the property while the guest is staying there must adhere to the conditions of the contract, including the rules and procedures contained in the information folder provided in the property.
We cater for families and couples and do not accept bookings from all male or all female parties of three or more persons. We also reserve the right to refuse any booking.
The terms contained in this contract do not affect your statutory rights.
Booking conditions
Bookings can be made in the following ways:

- In person, subject to availability, at the park
Payment may be made using a credit/debit card, by cheque or postal order (cheques payable to Springs Estates (Lincs) Ltd), or in cash (please do not send any cash in the post). A booking will only be accepted once payment of the fee has been confirmed.
The person who makes the booking is the lead person and is responsible for the booking and warrants that they are over 18 years of age and that the party will not exceed the numbers stated at booking.
The information supplied during booking will be stored on computer for administrative purposes. Under no circumstances will this information be provided to a third party.
The Price of the Holiday
Prices displayed on the internet or other 3rd party advertising media may not be current. The total price of the holiday will be calculated using our on line booking service or the latest tariff schedule held by Reception at Trusthorpe Springs at the time of booking.
Once you have made your booking, the price of the holiday will not be subject to any change unless the rate of VAT increases.
The price of the holiday is for a hired accommodation only and includes the reasonable use of the services supplied to the pitch. It does not include a contribution to any other facilities or services the company may offer at the park or sister parks as these may be subject to local restrictions from time to time.
The balance of the price of your holiday must be paid 14 days prior to arrival for commencement of the rental but may be paid on arrival if this less than 14 days from the booking date with our agreement. If the balance is not paid in time then we are entitled to cancel the holiday and retain your deposit.
Deposits
A 15% deposit based on the total holiday cost is required at booking.
Payment
The full balance of the holiday accommodation cost is to be paid no later than 14 days prior to the start of the rental period or on booking if arrival is within 14 days of the booking date.
Cancellation of the Holiday
You may cancel your holiday at any time. Cancellation will be effective on the date it is received by us. However cancellation charges are payable as follows:

If you cancel your holiday with us, you may be offered the option to move your booking to another available date within the same season. You will be required to pay any additional fees for different periods of the season which may be applicable.
Non-payment of the balance of the cost of the holiday accommodation on or after the due date may be construed as a cancellation of the contract by the client.
Any cancellation made by the client for whatever reason shall be in writing and addressed to the address on the website.
It is regretted that no refunds can be given if guests depart prior to the end of the booked holiday, unless they do so as the result of the breach of some obligation on our part which would justify cancelling the holiday.
The client is strongly advised to take out holiday cancellation insurance.
Holiday Behaviour Standards
By making a booking with us you have entered a contract in which you undertake, on behalf of yourself and the people in your party (including children), to adopt the following minimum standards of behaviour and our Park Rules which include but are not limited to:
- To act in a courteous and considerate manner towards us, our staff and other guests
- To abide by any and all local restrictions; which may be put in place from time to time
- To supervise children properly so that they are not a nuisance or danger to themselves or others
You further agree that you will not:
- commit any criminal offence at the Park or undertake any criminal activity
- commit any acts of vandalism or nuisance
- keep or carry any firearm or any other weapon at the Park
- use any unlawful drugs
- create any undue noise or disturbance
- carry on any trade or business while on the Park
- charge any electric vehicle from the holiday rental accommodation
- bring or use electric scooters, which are banned at the parks
Quiet hours are from 12.00pm until 8.00am. Please respect your fellow guests and keep noise to an absolute minimum.

Period of Hire
Rentals commence at 2.00pm on the day of arrival and terminate at 10.00am on the day of departure.
The arrival time should be arranged in advance. The client should arrange an estimated time with Trusthorpe Reception or the Main Office and inform them of any changes to that time to ensure somebody is available to show the client into the accommodation.
Sub Letting
Sub letting of the accommodation is not permitted.
Right of Entry
Whilst respecting the reasonable privacy of you and your party, the owners of Springs Holiday Estates reserve the right to access all accommodation at all times, if necessary, for repairs and emergencies.
If inviting friends to visit you must first seek the permission of the company.
No person who has been convicted of a criminal sexual or violent offence against persons may reside in the holiday rental accommodation or visit the Park.
Care of the Property
The client shall take all reasonable and proper care of the property and its furniture, pictures, fittings and effects in or on the property and leave them in the same state of repair, condition, cleanliness and tidiness as at the commencement of the rental period.
Breakages or Damage
The client is required to inform the owner of any damage or breakage in or around the property promptly so that it can be repaired and replaced for the next client.
The client is bound to reimburse the owners for replacement, repair or extra cleaning costs where reasonably demanded by the owners for damage caused by the client.
Rules and Procedures
Clients are required to observe the rules and familiarise themselves with the procedures contained in the information folder provided in each accommodation.
Open fires and ground level barbeques are not permitted.
The use of generators is not permitted.
Cutting or damaging trees and other vegetation is strictly prohibited and the natural conditions are not to be disturbed. This includes tying ropes to, or driving nails into, trees.
Please note that should you wish to extend your stay beyond the booked dates there is no guarantee that the same accommodation will be available.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted anywhere inside the holiday accommodation, reception, shop or The Cartwheel.
Pets
A maximum of two dogs are permitted in the accommodation subject to prior arrangement with the owners and the following conditions:
- Dogs are not permitted on the furniture
- Dogs must not be left unattended in the accommodation at any time
- When out of the accommodation the dog must be on a lead under the control of a responsible adult at all times. The client must clear up after the dog promptly, and dispose of bagged waste in an exterior bin.
- The client is responsible for any damage howsoever caused by their dog and liable to reimburse the owner for any replacement or repair thereby necessitated.
- The owners reserve the right to terminate the contract if the behaviour of the client’s dog is considered unacceptable.
Health and Safety
We take the wellbeing and safety of our guests very seriously and we ask that you comply with the following:
- The speed limit on the park is 10 mph.
- All vehicles must conform to the Road Traffic Act and have current tax, MOT and insurance. The provisions of the Highway Code apply to the roads on the park.
- Guests are not allowed to bring lorries or other commercial vehicles on to the park. This includes towing vehicles.
- No recreational vehicles can be used on the park, this includes motorised scooters.
- No mechanical or repair work is to be undertaken on the park.
- Only 1 vehicle can be parked next to the pitch. All other vehicles including trailers and boats must be parked in the main parking area.
- The rules for the swimming pool are displayed at the entrance to the pool. Children under 14 must be supervised by an adult and anyone failing to adhere to the rules will be excluded from the area for the remainder of their stay.
- In the unlikely event of a natural disaster or emergency requiring implementation of the park’s Emergency Action Plan you will be notified by voice.
- Please make yourself aware of the nearest fire point.

Liability
The owners of Springs Holiday Estates are not liable for any loss or damage to any client’s property or any property belonging to a member of the client’s party howsoever caused.
Complaints
If you have a complaint or an observation about anything during your holiday please raise it with a member of our staff immediately and if you wish to pursue it following your departure please write to the General Manager within 28 days of your departure. However we do suggest that you try and complete a report about the complaint while you are on holiday which may give us an opportunity to address any concerns you may raise.
